Naked Communications poaches Guy Cousins from Spark PHD to spearhead expansion plans

cousins1.jpgThe communications company, Naked, has poached Guy Cousins from Spark PHD, where he was strategic planning director.

Campaign Asia-Pacific, recently named Cousins Australasian Media Planner of the Year.  His appointment as managing partner sees Naked bolster its presence in New Zealand following the successful model from overseas.

Matt O’Sullivan, director of Naked NZ, says: “Luring Guy across to Naked has been an ambition of ours for some time, so we’re stoked to make it a reality.  He’s one of the best in the business.  This sets us up for a strong 2012, working with foundation clients like Coca-cola and Fonterra, as well as a couple of new ones.”

Cousins says: “I am a long standing fan of Naked – an agency that is shaking up the market in NZ. The senior team has a very clear vision of where the agency is going and I have a huge amount of respect for what they have achieved in such a short period of time.  So this is an opportunity that I absolutely want to be a part of”.
