CAANZ forum bringing ideas-led pr to the fore
On Wednesday 21 March, the Marcomms Leadership Group (MLG) will bring together architects of some of Asia Pacific’s most awarded campaigns, to discuss how creatively-led PR can solve brand communications challenges.
The half-day forum, Re-Imagining PR, will use world-class case studies to demonstrate the increasing role that ideas-led PR plays in the marketing communications mix – highlighting the exceptional results that businesses can achieve.
Renowned speakers include creators of the Cannes 2011 PR Grand Prix winner, National Australia Bank’s ‘Break Up’ campaign.
Says Kevin Ramsdale, general manager brand at NAB: “It will be a wonderful opportunity to hear about some very recent successful work in an engaging forum.”
Business Director at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, Tim McColl Jones, who defines creatively-led PR as having a BIG idea, says: “any forum that shares industry thinking is incredibly healthy.”
Visiting from Hong Kong, Lynne Anne Davis will share her integrated strategy experience, which saw Fleishman Hillard named ‘Asia Pacific Agency of the Year’ in 2011.
Davis believes creative leadership is paramount in communications today, and says: “I will be presenting a range of case studies on how brands have used insight-led PR to solve real business problems, drawing on the likes of Gatorade, Kia, adidas and more.”
Speaking about PR Gold Lion winner Bundaberg’s Watermark, Matt Bruhn, Diageo Australia MD, says attendees can expect to hear: “a unique perspective that helps them see their world a little differently.”
The audience will also have the opportunity to ask questions during an interactive panel discussion, learning how creatively-led PR can help their own business and their clients.
The MLG was behind last year’s popular forum on experiential marketing and expects this year’s event to be another sell-out success.
Taking place in Auckland’s CBD, forum details are as follows:
