It’s a question that troubles many New Zealanders: Which is better, Las Vegas USA or the real thing, RotoVegas (sulphur smelling, geyser spewing, Rotorua in central New Zealand)?
Three Cody’s drinkers courtesy of Barnes, Catmur & Friends Auckland went to the US to find out one way or another.

I’ve been a fan of BC’s work. And hope to be again. I’ll forget this little rough patch in the middle.
Me too, this had lots of potential with the basic premise, but underwritten and average execution..
FAIL
I want the last 45 secs back.
Yeah … really not good. Wasted opportunity and just not funny. Agree with Zac…execution is average but so is whole concept.
I like it. They’re talking to cody’s drinkers so the scope for shakespearian allusion, subtle irony and rhetorical fourish in the writing is probably quite limited. Compared to the ‘you’re all phonies’ crud for Jim Beam this is spot on.

Fart joke. Really?
No – Shakespeare actually said:
‘A man may break a word with you, sir; and words are but wind; Ay, and break it in your face, so he break it not behind.’ (Comedy of Errors III i 75-76)
