SKY Television has secured the rights to broadcast the London 2012 Olympic Games in New Zealand. For the first time, Kiwi sports fans will be able to witness every moment of the world’s biggest sporting event the way it’s meant to be seen across 5 dedicated channels on SKY Sport.
To pique viewers’ interest in The Games, DDB New Zealand created spots that delve deeper than your average sports highlights reel, and offer an insight into what makes each sport uniquely impressive at the Olympic level.

This stuff is well written.
7.4….6.1….6.4….5.2
Are these for this one or the one eight years ago?
Given the suggested IQ of the first post, I’m going to guess that it was written by a DDB PR girl and not one of the creatives.
Good work Greg wood
Remember when lots of kiwi tele ads were driven by art directors and not bloke jokes? Nah me neither, but I’m only 34. These are brilliant though.
Well written. Beautifully shot.
Fantastic ads… for the Olympics… But from a strategic perspective, that end-frame tag is simply a disjointed add-on. Will some clever strategic person from Colenso kindly elucidate on how this single-mindedly help Sky? Cheers.
Amazing spots, feel hugely fresh when you see them on telly in amongst everything else. Nicely shot, great voice – very nice indeed.
@Only a punter…
I totally agree with you, mate Colenso they always stuff up the strategy.
‘Go Team’ only gets awarded a 0.1 – for sense of humour failure.
