New Zealand Herald to launch new look week day edition and new magazine – Mon September 10

themag.jpgThe New Zealand Herald will reveal its new-look, compact weekday edition on Monday, September 10, its most significant change in 150 years.

On the same day readers will be treated to a new premium gloss magazine, simply entitled The Magazine.

Designed to be celebratory and aspirational, The Magazine will capture and showcase all that is good about this country – our people, our talents, our achievements, our lifestyle. This exclusive title, approximately A4 in size, is designed to be kept by readers and leave them proud to be a Kiwi.

Edited by respected writer and editor Jane Phare, The Magazine features contributions from New Zealand’s finest journalists, writers, commentators and photographers. The magazine’s look and feel is modern, elegant and clean, with extensive use of world-class photography, and will sit proudly on any coffee table.

The new-look Herald will be launched with a high-impact, multi-media campaign and The Magazine will be inserted in all copies on this historic launch day. This publication not only offers the huge reach of the country’s best-read daily newspaper (566,000 people), but also reaches an affluent audience – 62% of Herald readers are in the top three socio-economic levels.
