The Effie Awards are approaching and tickets are now on sale and selling fast. The event takes place Thursday, 11th of October with drinks at 6:30pm and a 7:30pm start at the Great Room, Langham Hotel in Auckland.

If doggleganger doesn’t win every category we should Nadzeya Ostapchuk their Axis awards away.
At last years’ Effies I ate two dinners: The chicken and the beef.
The Beef was very nice, but a bit bland, and the side dishes were less than inspired.
Spying some former workmates I wandered over to their table and, after repeatedly backstabbing a former CEO whom we all used to work for (and whom happens to be about to announce his retirement), proceeded to demolish the uneaten chicken dish.
The chicken was wrapped in bacon, yummy, the chicken was moist and slightly salty. The sides were equally well prepared. I was impressed.
My advice for the 2012 Effies; Eat the chicken.
