DDB New Zealand snares Victoria Graves as group business director for Westpac account
DDB New Zealand today announced the appointment of Victoria Graves (left) as group business director on the Westpac account.
Graves joins DDB from .99 where she was GAD on the Westpac business since 2010. Previous roles have included a year at TBWA and three years at Harvey|Cameron Advertising.
DDB Group New Zealand MD Justin Mowday says Graves’ depth of experience in banking will make her an invaluable addition to the team.
Says Mowday: “We’re thrilled to have Victoria on board – her wealth of experience, broad skill-set and dynamic approach to banking will be a huge asset to our team.”
Westpac New Zealand appointed DDB Group as its sole creative advertising agency in May this year and DDB’s first campaign for the red bank is imminent.

Yay!!!
That’s one of the best new starters photos I’ve seen. Hawt.
So DDB hired 99’s Westpac GAD, 99’s Westpac Creative Team, and 99’s Westpac Studio Operator. While Westpac themselves hired an ex 99 Digital Producer as head of Digital Marketing.
Why did 99 lose the pitch again?
