MINI wanted to celebrate being the car behind the highly successful SPCA driving dogs campaign.
So, while the campaign was underway and headlining around the world, DraftFCB Auckland ran this series of press ads at home to drive potential customers online, and confirm MINI as the car preferred by canine drivers.

“MINI wanted to celebrate being the car behind the highly successful SPCA driving dogs campaign.”
Or in other words:
“MINI desperately wanted people to know they actually paid for the highly successful SPCA driving dogs campaign.”
Because no one does.
draft thought they could make some award winning print and get mini to pay.
weill done regan and co. on the up and up
clever and chuckleworthy, good old print.
Did the photographer use instagram?
Nice work gents. Best print for a while.
Ok images, but what are they for? Awards you say? Pats on back all round then. No one will notice we ripped off the very famous Mercedes skidmarks ad either.
Given MINI’s popularity among middle-aged women, I don’t think shouting ‘dogs drive MINIs’ is such a good idea.
This is good, clever print. I like it. Everyone’s entitled to my opinion.
Funny.
It’s a VW ad disguised as a mini ad.
I do like it, but it’s pretty damn old skool
Old school? Is that because it has an idea in it?
A print campaign with an idea in it. Good work Draft FCB.
It’s not a proper client, who’s it even doing ad advertising job for? Reeks of desperation from FCB. These have clearly been done for awards, they even look like classic awards ads, little involvement from either client. I’d expect this sort of behaviour from a Brazilian agency.
Nice. I like them.
I totally missed the cat/duck thing. Thought it meant that the dogs have been driving cars around trees and into lakes etc.
Hmmmm.
Yawn… enough said.
