Director Dael Oates joins Thick As Thieves

Director Dael Oates has joined Thick as Thieves for representation in NZ.

Winner of the Kodak New Director Award, Oates has quickly built a reputation for finely crafted work with a unique visual aesthetic. With a background in the dark arts of post, Oates’ work reflects his fascination with narrative, design and VFX.

Says Nik Beachman Ep at Thick As Thieves: “Dael’s work encompasses the full range of film-craft from stop animation to CGI across a range of genres and styles. He is a fine chap and a proper artist and we can’t wait to introduce him and his work.”
