Creative is not a department: PR/Experiential’s place at the marketing table – must attend forum of world-class creatives on Wed, July 2, Auckland
Creativity has traditionally been seen as the prerogative of advertising agencies but more and more public relations and experiential companies are offering creative solutions to business problems. This year’s CAANZ Marcomms forum explores the notion that creativity is integral to modern marketing, whatever the discipline – with some superb case studies that more than illustrate the point held on Wednesday July, 3, 1:30 – 5:30pm at Rendezvous Grand Hotel, Auckland, Mayoral Drive.
The Keynote speaker is Marian Salzmanceo (pictured) of Havas PR, North America. Also speaking is Kat Thomas, managing director of Sydney agency, One Green Bean; Christine Kalin, SPCA NZ CEO and Peter Vegas, DraftFCB NZ senior creative on the MINI and SPCA Driving Dogs campaign.
Salzamanceo was PR Week’s 2011 PR Professional of the Year and described last year by Business Insider as one of the 25 Most Powerful People in PR. An award winning blogger, brand marketer, social media innovator and trend-spotter, Marian will talk on the global move towards real-time creativity and how social media has blown the traditional PR world wide open.

Wow, only $225 each to hear some old PR wimmin’ talk about how creative they are.
Everyone’s a creative now. Lets just get rid of creatives and let client, media and PR hacks come up with the big ideas.
