image003.jpgEntries are now open for the 2015 $10,000 Newspaper Ad of the Year award, the only award that inflates both egos and bank balances and the largest cash prize in the NZ industry.

Entrants have until 5pm on Friday 7 August to upload entries at www.newspaperawards.co.nz.

As well as the highly desirable $10,000 cash prize for The 2015 Ad of the Year, this year’s awards include six other categories: best topical, best digital, best craft (art), best craft (copy), best media thinking, and best news brand campaign recognising excellence in integrated campaigns across print and digital newspaper platforms.

This year’s judges include a NZ creative judging panel comprising top NZ ECDs, a NZ media judging panel comprising top NZ MDs and international judge/s who will make the final call on the $10,000 Ad of the Year.

Established in 2005, the annual Newspaper Advertising Awards recognise creative and media excellence in newspaper and digital news site advertising, with last year’s $10,000 Newspaper Ad of the Year winner being DDB for its VW ad, ‘The Beetle, on sale’.

Entry is free and easy, and any ad that has run in NZ newspapers or on NZ Newspaper Brand websites between 1 July 2014 and 30 June 2015 is eligible.

Winners will be announced on Thursday 1 October with more details released in the upcoming months.
