BBDO named Network of the Year at AdStars 2015 Festival; Colenso BBDO nabs Agency of the Year

BBDO has taken out the Network of the Year award at the 2015 AdStars Festival which concluded tonight in Busan, South Korea.
BBDO’s performance was led by Colenso BBDO Auckland, Clemenger BBDO Wellington, BBDO Proximity Thailand and BBDO Pakistan who picked up 4 Grand Prix awards between them.
Two other major awards were handed out tonight – Agency of the Year was awarded to Colenso BBDO Auckland and Hyundai was named Advertiser of the Year.

Never heard of Adstars. Is there any award these guys won’t enter.
Apparently not just Colenso. In fact, every major NZ agency entered these and a lot of them picked up metal: DDB, Y&R, Special, FCB, Cirkus, Clemenger Wellington & Colenso.
So, in summary, everyone entered these. It’s just that Colenso clearly won a lot more and got named agency of the year.
Give them a medal, you need to get out more. Ad Stars is the biggest Award show in Asia, it’s backed by the Korean Government and attracts more than 80.000 people to daily seminars throughout the week that are fronted by some of the world’s top creative talent. The Award show itself is broadcast live on local television to an audience of millions. BBDO offices from around the world won multiple medals including several Grand Prix’s. Wellington contributed to the overall BBDO tally and collected 10k for Mistakes which won the Public Service ultimate Grand Prix. You should climb out of your box and enter next year if you have anything worthy.
I don’t care that Adstars is backed by the North Korean government, I hadn’t heard of it, but thank you for enlightening me.
