Colenso BBDO leads agency pack at shortlist round of 2016 Axis Awards with 85 finalists

CAANZ has announced the finalists for the 2016 Axis Awards Gala, to be held on Thursday, March 10.
Colenso BBDO has smashed the finalist round with a total of 85 finalists, followed by FCB in second place with 58 finalists and Y&R with 51. DDB are fourth with 33 finalists.
The Sweet Shop leads the production company pack with a total of 22 finalists.

How much work did Colenso fund to enter to get 85 finalists! They’ve cleverly guaranteed themselves the Creative Agency of the Year title, given that’s based on a points system. They’ll always get a few Golds, plus heaps of Bronze/Silver, and 85 points to start the night with! No doubt at all that they’re playing the volume awards game.
85 finallists is a massive effort. Colenso to own it on the night.
