Augusto premieres its first feature film ‘Chasing Great’ feat. Richie McCaw in London last night
Last night All Black hero Richie McCaw took to the red carpet for the UK premiere of ‘Chasing Great’ along with the film’s director Michelle Walshe.
Chasing Great is the first feature film produced and directed by the team of thinkers and makers at Augusto whose work in entertainment and marketing covers film, television strategy and design.
The film follows former New Zealand rugby legend Richie McCaw through his final season as he attempts the goal of captaining the All Blacks to the first ever back-to-back Rugby World Cup wins.
The film smashed domestic records at the box office as it became New Zealand’s highest grossing documentary of all time, opening at number 1 in the box office and showing in over 100 screens. Chasing Great’s UK Premiere took place in London last night and the film will have its French debut in April on Canal+.
The European release follows a record 2016 for the business, which saw them continue their work with Adidas, AIG, Samsung, Mitre 10 and Discovery Networks International.

I’m afraid it’s getting the numbers because it’s Ritchie McCaw, not because the film or the makers, sorry guys. Also it looks like it has been made by ad people, just has that adesque feel to it. No real idea about film making.
^ What a stink thing to say.
Or just maybe the truth
