New Zealand scores eight Gold at Spikes Asia; Tribal leads with three Gold for Samsung ‘iTest’

Following yesterday’s shortlist of 625 pieces of work, Spikes Asia has announced that 39 Gold, 79 Silver, 117 Bronze and 11 Spikes have been awarded. The Gold Winners will now compete to take a coveted Grand Prix.

 

New Zealand has secured eight Gold Awards and four Spikes. Tribal Aotearoa leads New Zealand with three Gold for Samsung ‘iTest’ in Brand Experience & Activation and Direct. Special has secured a Gold in Media for Motor Neurone Disease Association Charity for ‘David’s Unusables’ plus two Creative Effectiveness Spikes for Every Kiwi Vote Counts ‘Meddle in the New Zealand Election’ and Tourism New Zealand ‘Good Morning World’.

DDB Aotearoa scored two Golds – one in Film for NZ Lotteries ‘On Ice’ and one in Entertainment for Steinlager ‘The Alt Blacks’.

Kiwi agencies scoring one Gold apiece include Saatchi & Saatchi NZ for Global Women ‘A Career Limiting Film’ in Film and TBWA NZ for Melanoma New Zealand ‘Melanoma Typeface’.

Colenso BBDO won a Creative Data Spike for Mars ‘Myhooman’ and FCB New Zealand scored an Integrated Spike for Fire and Emergency New Zealand ‘Firefighters Don’t Like Fire Movies’.

Australia leads the overall rankings with 78 awards in total. India are ranking second with 56, followed by New Zealand with 37.

We’re excited to announce the Grand Prix and Special Awards winners tomorrow and to uncover key insights and trends through Spikes Unwrapped and the Spikes Creativity Report for 2022 on 24 March.”

The Grands Prix and Special Award winners will be revealed by the Jury Presidents on the Spikes Asia Winner’s Site, on Thursday 3 March from 15:00 SGT, followed by Spikes Unwrapped and the Spikes Creativity Report released on 24 March.
