Plato Creative appoints Hayley O’Connor to newly created People and Culture Manager role
As part of Plato Creative’s commitment to growing its talent pool they have appointed Hayley O’Connor to the newly created role of People and Culture Manager, effective immediately.
Over the last twelve months the Christchurch based agency has enjoyed significant success and has grown rapidly, attracting both new clients and staff from around New Zealand with the quality of their thinking and work.
Says Nick Harvey CEO: “This is a key role that sits alongside the board to ensure that Plato has a progressive and aligned approach to its people, their performance, and the role that they have in growing the business. We see Hayley, and the work she’ll do, as being absolutely key to Plato being able to improve the recipe for the ‘special sauce’ that has helped to get us to where we are now.
“Hayley has been with Plato for over six years, initially starting out in the operations team, coming through the ranks and growing alongside the agency as the business achieved significant success. Now it’s her turn to champion our amazing people and to help build careers and pathways for current and future staff.”
Says O’Connor: “It’s a really exciting time at Plato, we are a progressive company with big ambitions and this is creating opportunity for everyone. We’ve got such an engaged, talented and ambitious team, that I’m excited to get around and work with them on how we can take the agency and our work to another level. The future is bright for Plato and our people can excel and achieve in what and where they choose, and it’s my job to support them on this journey- and I’m looking forward to the next chapter.“
O’Connor’s initial focus will be on attracting high caliber talent with the skills in web and tech, marketing, and creative. So, if you know anyone … call Hayley.
