Hello and LUMO support a changing of the guard with new ‘Freedom for Iran’ campaign
A new digital billboard campaign has hit screens across the country this week with the ambition to create more awareness and support for the people standing up for human rights and freedom in Iran.
Iran has been gripped by protests since the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Kurdish woman, in the custody of the morality police last month, posing one of the boldest challenges to the clerical leadership since the revolution in 1979.
Says James Polhill, managing director, Hello: “This is truly a moment in time. Could this be a Berlin Wall moment? Time will tell, but we’re doing everything we can to support my partner and the people’s call for freedom, both here and across the world.”
Iranians are risking their lives and harsh imprisonment by challenging the regime, sparking hope that change is coming as worldwide attention continues to mount. Tragically, brutal suppression has seen the death toll rise daily.
Says Kent Harrison, director, LUMO: “We’re proud to stand with the people of Iran. The campaign continues to make traction worldwide and we’ll do everything we can to make sure more people see it and add their backing.”
The campaign is currently running across the LUMO digital billboard network.
