Stanley St appoints former DDB Aotearoa creative duo Aiken Hutcheson and Stan Lee

Stanley St has made two more key hires, this time of a rockstar creative team Aiken Hutcheson (left) and Stan Lee aka Staken (right).

The writer and art director duo, who join from DDB Aotearoa, are already making their mark in the industry having previously won the Axis Emerging Talent with a silver in the global MAD Star competition.

They are a welcome extension to the agency’s fast-growing creative department, following on from the hire of head of design Nathan Chambers.

Says Brad Collett, ECD, Stanley St: “This is a team that is destined to do great things and is already flexing their creative muscle. Our client line-up presents real creative opportunities to work across multiple channels. It’s important to have a team that understands the local market. They’ve worked across a wide range of local and international brands that align with our own portfolio. Nabbing talent like Aiken, who writes for Seven Days, and Stan, an award-winning art director, is gold.

Says Hutcheson: “While previously with DDB, we were looking for a change and working with Brad and the team feels like the right move in our career.

“Every agency has its unique appeal, and jumping on the Stanley St train felt like it could be fun, and lead to some stellar work. And it definitely will if we have any say in the matter.”

Staken has already begun getting stuck into the work, so watch this space.
